Police: Burglary suspect 'career' thief

Police call Henry Johnson, 18, a career thief.

A Saulk Village man was charged in connection to a burglary on the South Side.

Police call Henry Johnson, 18, a career thief. He has been charged with felony residential burglary.

Johnson is accused of breaking into a home in the 6500-block of South Hoyne on March 30, 2009 and taking more than $7,000 worth of electronics and jewelry.

Police on the scene found a broken rear window with blood , from which a blood sample was taken. A positive DNA match was made for Johnson.

Johnson has a history of burglary and theft arrests and is currently serving a sentence for an April 2009 burglary.
