Wrigley concert dates announced

March 4, 2010 (CHICAGO)

The Cubs got the go-ahead to hold the concerts September 17 and 18. The second date is the holiest day of the Jewish calendar, Yom Kippur. Wrigley officials say the concert will be pushed back until after sundown when Yom Kippur ends.

The concerts will reportedly feature either Dave Matthews, Paul McCartney or Phish.

Elton John and Billy Joel already canceled their scheduled summer concert July 7, so there is also a possibility the Cubs may replace that concert with another band.
