March 6, 2010 (CHICAGO) --
In what could be a small sign of an improving economy, a long line of people were eager Saturday to be among the first to check out the new Sephora store in Block 37 downtown. Chicago's Mayor Daley was on hand to cut the ribbon.
Kyan Douglas from the television show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" also attended the opening.
The first 100 store visitors received gift cards to the store.
The new Sephora on State Street is nearly 6,000 sq. ft., and it is full of beauty supplies.
