Loraine Rudenga was beaten to death in her home back in 1992.
Police say a crime lab has linked the DNA of a felon to a piece of chewing gum found at the scene. But the man was killed in a train accident in Missouri one year ago.
Police stress the match does not prove the man killed her but it puts him at the crime scene. They are now looking for people the man may have talked to about the killing.
