Chicago police are hoping surveillance tape will help them find a man accused of robbing businesses while posing as a fire inspector.

The surveillance video was taken last month at Star Struck Apparel on West Madison. The store's owner says the man identified himself as a fire department captain and asked him for $12.

The owner handed him the cash and the offender walked out.

The suspect is also wanted for robbing the Burton Place Bar Tuesday morning and Lakeshore Athletic Club Saturday.
