Police say Mamoun Homsi was stabbed by a passenger who had tried to rob him. His wife, Patti, says her husband picked up the passenger downtown and drove to the Northwest Side when the stabbing happened. She says her husband's attacker was trying to kill him.
"I don't feel these wounds were hurting wounds, they were killing wounds. You don't stab someone multiple times and just expect them to be hurt," said Patti Homsi, victim's wife.
So far police have no one in custody. Patti Homsi hopes someone might come forward with information in the case.
