Boender's defense attorney said Monday he would not call Daley and probably would not call 10 Chicago aldermen as he'd originally planned.
Boender is accused of providing former alderman Isaac Carothers with $40,000 worth of home improvements in exchange for help with a zoning change.
Carothers pleaded guilty and resigned from office.
