United employees protest against outsourcing

March 17, 2010 (CHICAGO) A group held an informational rally outside the airline's headquarters in downtown Chicago Wednesday.

United workers say they are concerned about a new joint venture between United and AER Lingus.

On March 28, they will begin flights connecting Washington, DC and Madrid, Spain without using United aircraft or pilots.

United says the flights have created jobs that didn't exist previously and would not exist without the partnership.
