South Shore service resumes after shutdown

Overhead wire damage forced the South Shore Rail to shut down service Monday morning.The damage was first discovered near Ogden Dunes.

Metra honored South Shore tickets on the Metra Electric line all morning.

The South Shore resumed normal train service beginning with westbound Train 116, arriving in Chicago at 12:39 p.m., and eastbound Train 107, departing Chicago at 10:10 a.m.
