An autopsy revealed Liliana died from blunt head trauma caused by child abuse and her death was ruled a homicide.
"The fire department, the ambulance thought it could be possibly be SIDS but after the medical examiner ruled it a homicide, they're basically the boss and when they rule it a homicide we now treat it as a homicide. The detectives worked very hard doing interviews," said Chief Lori Lelis, Cicero Police Dept.
