Featured in digital 3-D and brought to life with 4-D multi-sensory effects, the Happy Feet 4-D Experience utilizes state-of-the-art technology to excite the senses of sight, sound, touch and smell. An immersive experience for the whole family, Happy Feet transforms the 4-D theater in Phelps Auditorium - the only theater of its kind in Chicago - into a magical world, taking audiences on a journey to Antarctica to meet a lively colony of Emperor Penguins faced with a diminishing food supply. Mumble, the heartwarming, tap-dancing member of the colony, sets out on an adventure to appeal to the better nature of humans and tries to reason with them to stop stealing the fish. Relying on his courage and bravery, Mumble realizes that his toe-tapping talent is a gift to be treasured and may save his endangered colony!

Beginning March 27, the Happy Feet 4-D Experience and Planet Earth: Shallow Seas will be featured daily. Upgrades for the 4-D Theater experience are available for $4 with Shedd Pass.
