More than 160 students at Hibbard Elementary School in Albany Park are now a part of three separate youth orchestras.
In January, the Ravinia women's board helped support creation of the second orchestra called Reach. Monday the students in that orchestra were given uniform jackets.
The program is influenced by El Sistema, an orchestral plan devised in Venezuela that puts an emphasis on group training and performance.
