Investigators were still on the scene hours later. Hintz was shut down from Rt. 83 to Schoenbeck Road Thursday morning.

Kelly's car was westbound on Hintz Road when it struck the SUV, which was southbound on Elmhurst Road the release said. Police said it appears the speed of the car was a factor in the crash. Toxicology results were pending.
