Archdiocese sues Holy Name contractors

March 27, 2010 (CHICAGO) That fire happened in February of 2009.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a negligence suit was filed Friday in Cook County Circuit Court.

The Archdiocese claims it was not told the de-icing system's heat cable had been severed, that repairs were not made, and that the power was not cut to prevent electricity from flowing to the cut wire.

There was no comment Saturday morning from the church's legal team, nor the contractors.
