Chicago goes dark for Earth Hour 2010

Much of the city's skyline will go dark tonight -- in observance of "Earth Hour". The lights will go out as a part of a global campaign to raise awareness about climate change.

Much of the city's skyline will go dark tonight -- in observance of "Earth Hour". The lights will go out as a part of a global campaign to raise awareness about climate change.

More than 150 other U.S. cities are participating as well as more than 120 countries.

In Chicago more than 200 downtown buildings will turn off their exterior lights including the Willis Tower, the Wrigley Building, and the Chicago Theater.

This is the third year the City of Chicago is participating in Earth Hour.
