Summit man faces molestation charges

April 7, 2010 James Dixon, 36, of the 5400-block of South 73rd Avenue, is charged with predatory criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual assault of a family member, said Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart.

The victim in the case told police the molestation included hundreds of acts for almost a decade.

Police say Dixon admitted to more than 300 acts of molestation against the victim since the victim was 8 years old.

Dixon was arrested Friday and bond was set Saturday. His next court date is set for April 22.
