Saving green on green travel

April 20, 2010 9:46:05 AM PDT
Keeping it "green" at home is easy enough, but what about while traveling? It may not be as expensive as you think. As Earth Day turns 40, the online travel website, Travelzoo, is offering hand-selected deals at hotels earning the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED® certification. The LEED program certifies buildings for water and energy efficiency, green materials and environmental friendliness. And Travelzoo's deals are researched and tested by a team of global experts.
