The girl reportedly told police a man grabbed her by the collar and pulled her into an alley and that the suspect threatned to kill her if she tried to get away.
Police are reminding parents to have children walk with a friend and to be aware of their surroundings.
Authorities say the suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man between 30 and 40 years old, who had red spots on his hands and face and was wearing a gray V-neck sweatshirt with a hood, blue jeans and black Nike gym shoes.
