A Will County judge has rejected a defense request to suppress information in the case against a southwest suburban man accused of murdering his family.Four members of the Vaughn family were found in an SUV off an Interstate 55 frontage road in Channahon township in June 2007.

Christopher Vaughn is eligible for the death penalty in the case.

However, his attorneys said evidence obtained through several search warrants should be thrown out. They claimed that information used to secure the warrants was knowingly untruthful, but the judge rejected their argument.
