Blagojevich's lawyers ask to have counts dismissed

Lawyers for former governor Rod Blagojevich have asked a judge to dismiss several of the counts he faces.Defense attorneys filed a motion Tuesday seeking the dismissal of racketeering charges against Blagojevich.

He has pleaded not guilty to corruption charges, including an attempt to sell a vacant U.S. Senate seat and using his powers as governor to pressure campaign donors into making contributions.

Blagojevich's attorneys will return to court next week.
