State lawmakers have sent a bill to Illlinois Governor Pat Quinn to deal with explicit picture messaging by teenagers. Under the measure, teens who forward or post racy pictures of their underage friends online would get juvenile court supervision. It could also result in mandatory counseling or community service.

The measure aims to educate teens about the dangers of sexting while updating state laws for the Internet age.
