ABC7 News has learned $6 million in privately raised Olympic funds will pay for six new summer wrestling camps, a wrestling festival in June at Navy Pier, as well as archery and weightlifting programs in parks through-out Chicago.
Olympic money is also being used to expand swimming and track and field programs launched last year.
Chicago's 2016 bid team created World Sport Chicago to expose local children to Olympic sports. The group estimates its programs have reached 30,000 Chicago kids.
