ABC 7's news partner The Daily Herald shared photos of the two giant hot dog statues as they were being put on the roof of Superdawg's Wheeling location.
The 15-foot tall "Maurie" and "Flaurie" statues weigh more than 500 pounds each and were installed with extra care.
The Wheeling location opened in January and its owners said the iconic drive-in felt naked without its famous mascots.
