Federal authorities say they have seized bomb-making materials from a northwest suburban home.

Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives found the materials in the 600-block of Huntington Drive in Schaumburg after acting on reports that someone was building explosive devices there.

Authorities say they found materials used to build pipe bombs and hand grenades in the home.

ATF agents say they are interviewing an unidentified man in the case.

No charges have been filed so far.
