May 23, 2010 --Our guest on this NewsViews is Anita Alvarez. She is completing a year and a half as the first woman, and first Hispanic, to be state's attorney of Cook County. Alvarez runs the nation's second largest prosecution office, second only to Los Angeles County. She is also the current president of the Chicago Bar Association.
