The victim, who was from Downers Grove, was five months pregnant. She had just moved to a new apartment in Villa Park and was found stabbed by a neighbor.
The woman died at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Gilford is described as 6 feet 4 inches, 210 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a 2008 black Dodge Charger with military license plates 41279US.
