A Chicago community group is targeting an area hit hard by foreclosures on the city's West Side. The Coalition to Save Community Banking walked along the 5400- block of West Congress Parkway Friday.

The coalition claims U.S. Bank has been a major contributor to the mortgage foreclosure crisis in the area and in the county. According to the group, there have been more than 1,000 filings and completed foreclosures in Cook County by U.S. Bank from January to April.

U.S. Bank has not returned calls for comment.
