Caramel Pop Corn

  • 4 Cup sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Corn Syrup
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 2.5 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 bags Pop Corn
  • Method

    Before you start, oil a Bowl.

    Cook sugar, syrup, butter and water until light color of caramel, pour baking soda and salt over light caramel. Sugar will darken a little more at this point. Pour quickly over popcorn that is in an oiled bowl. With protective heat resistant gloves, quickly toss to evenly coat corn. Pull apart with gloves and let popcorn cool.
