Spokesperson: No TV show for teen sailor

June 14, 2010 A spokesperson for the Sunderland family says a show was discussed last year but never came about.

Monday's edition of the New York Post reported that Laurence Sunderland signed a contract for a show after his daughter set sail.

Abby Sunderland, 16, was more than halfway around the world when she activated emergency beacons on her storm-battered boat. A French fishing vessel rescued her three days after she set off her emergency beacons.
