June 19, 2010 (CHICAGO) --A Chicago man celebrated his 99th birthday by taking a flying leap out of a perfectly good airplane.Larry Baker retired from U.S. Steel more than 30 years ago and says he likes to try new things and keep going.
That's what inspires the Lansing resident to sky dive.
Baker has been jumping out of planes since he was 93 years old. To mark his 99th year, he headed out to Hinckley, Illinois for Saturday's adventure.
He says he wasn't even nervous.
