June 23, 2010 (CHICAGO) --
There is a sticky problem with some of the new city stickers in Chicago. The city clerk's office says a batch of vehicle decals is defective. At least 1,200 stickers have been replaced because they won't stay stuck to a car's windshield.
The faulty stickers make up only a small percentage of the 1.25 million stickers that the city expects to sell.
If you have a bad sticker you can return it for a replacement.
E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call (312) 742-9200 for replacements.
