3 dead, others wounded in Chicago overnight

Chicago police say three people have been shot dead and at least 11 others were wounded.

Officials say the deaths happened Sunday night into Monday morning.

Police and the Cook County medical examiner say 34-year-old Jerry Seals died after he was found with gunshot wound to the head late Sunday in the city's Englewood neighborhood.

Chicago police say 37-year-old Andrew Hartrick was pronounced dead at 1 a.m. Monday. Police say they responded to a call of two men shot and Hartrick was pronounced dead at the scene.

And Chicago police also say an unidentified man was found dead in Chicago's East Chatham neighborhood early Monday.

Police say at least 11 other people were wounded during the overnight time period.
