Studies show Asian exercises have many benefits

Regular exercise does not mean you always have to be breathless with high-energy moves.

Qigong and tai chi are practices that have been used in East Asia for centuries. And today the exercises continue to show strong health benefits.

Researchers from Arizona State University reviewed 77 studies on these practices which involved more than 6,000 people. They showed many physical and mental advantages, to people of all ages, along with benefits to the heart, immune system and overall quality of life.
