The Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago has been ranked the number one large-city hotel in the U.S. and Canada in Travel and Leisure's 2010 World's Best Awards.

The readers' survey gave the downtown Chicago luxury hotel -- one of the tallest buildings in the world -- the highest overall score for its 339 guestrooms and suites.

Amenities include the 23,000 square-foot Spa at Trump; Sixteen, a fine dining restaurant featuring the modern American cuisine of Chef Frank Brunacci; Rebar, a chic cocktail lounge, and the Terrace at Trump.

Trump Hotel was also ranked No. 20 in the World's Best Hotels Overall category. The list appears in the August 2010 issue.

Travel and Leisure readers rated hotels, cities, islands, airlines, tour operators, car rental agencies and cruise lines in the magazine's annual World's Best Awards readers' survey.

Hotel rankings are based on readers' ratings in rooms/facilities, location, service, restaurants/food and value. Large City hotels have 100 or more rooms.

Trump Hotel is located at 401 N. Wabash Avenue and opened to hotel guests in January 2008. The hotel can be found on floors 14-27 of a 92-story residential tower.
