Loop pastry school doubles in size

One of the sweetest schools in Chicago is growing.

The French Pastry School in the Loop held a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday afternoon to celebrate its expansion and new facilities.

Mayor Daley was on hand to do the honors and many of Chicago's best known chefs were there as well.

The expansion includes an additional 11,000-square-feet.

The French Pastry School will actually double in size to help meet the rising demand for instruction in the pastry field.
