A car-sharing service in Chicago is adding all-electric cars to its fleet. People who rent cars through I-GO will be able to drive plug-in vehicles beginning next summer in Chicago.

The CEO of the Chicago-based company said I-GO is testing various electric cars now to see which models will be added to their fleet.

The city of Chicago plans to install dozens of charging stations throughout the city by next year. I-GO customers who rent an all-electric car will be able to use the recharging stations.
