Carlos Salgado, 26, died at a party at Memorial Park. A police report indicated there was drinking and nudity at the party but no foul play.
Salgado's family has filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against park district president Fred Bilotto and Blue Island.
Mayor Donald Peloquin says he wants Blue Island removed from the lawsuit because Salgado died on park district property.
