Authorities have recovered the body of the fourth and final victim of a small medical plane crash in Lake Michigan. They have also lifted the remains of the plane from the lake for examination.

The plane was taking a cancer patient to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota when it crashed near Ludington on July 23.

The plane's pilot was rescued on the day of the crash, but the co-pilot, the cancer patient, his wife and a friend went down with the plane.

The co-pilot's body was recovered Sunday. The other victims were found Friday and Saturday.
