Just about anything can be transformed into art. And that includes refrigerators.

A new exhibit called 'Fine Art Fridges' opened on Michigan Avenue Monday. It's sponsored by ComEd and features nine recycled refrigerators that have been decorated by Chicago artists. They're located on the Mag Mile between Chicago Avenue and Illinois Street.

The exhibit runs through September 15th. It was created to raise awareness about ComEd's refrigerator recycling program.
