Rogers named Johnson Publishing chief exec

Former White House social secretary in the Obama administration.. Desiree Rogers has a new job.She's been named chief executive of Chicago-based Johnson Publishing.

Rogers stepped down from her role in Washington amid criticism when party-crashers got into the first Obama state dinner.

Johnson Publishing is best known for its magazines Ebony and Jet

Linda Johnson Rice will continue as the company's chairman.
