Dolton man arrested in May murder

A south suburban Dolton man has been arrested in downstate Danville and charged with the murder of a Thornridge High School honor student.Jermaine Brazill, 19, is charged with first-degree murder and is being held in the Cook County Jail on $1 million bond.

On May 24, 15-year-old Destin Hernandez was struck in the head by a stray bullet as he was walking home from school.

Dolton police tracked Brazill to Danville, where he was arrested last week by U.S Marshals and Dolton and Danville police.
