Oratowski was a graduate of Glenbard South high school.
His body was expected to be buried at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery Oak Brook Terrace.

August 28, 2010 (CHICAGO) Family and friends filed into Faith Lutheran church Saturday afternoon for Oratowski's funeral service. The 23-year-old was killed by an improvised explosive device earlier in August in Helmand Provine, Afghanistan.
