Some Chicago Public Schools students were treated to a shopping spree Tuesday. The elementary students were taken to the Old Navy store in Chicago's Loop as a reward for their attendance history, which either met or exceeded the district average.

Students came from Wentworth, Oglesby, Westcott and Woods schools. They were given $50 gift cards to shop with and received additional discounts on merchandise they selected.

The students also took an attendance pledge and if they improve their attendance records, they will receive an additional incentive at the end of the school year.
