September 3, 2010 (CHICAGO) --One way to get children interested in food is to ask them to help prepare a meal. While youngsters often help out in the kitchen, they might not get much experience cooking outdoors. But you should encourage your children to learn how to use the grill, says Chef Rachael Ogden of Texas Roadhouse in Joliet. With proper supervision, young cooks can become expert grillers, the chef says. She shares some kid-friendly grilling recipes: Kabobs, Pulled BBQ Pork and Ribs.
