Adventure-seekers in Chicago took part in a Sunday fundraiser in downtown. The "Skyline Plunge" sent participants rappelling 27-stories down the exterior of The Wit hotel on North State Street.

ABC7 is told 80 people took on the challenge.

The event was hosted by the Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago. The goal was to raise more than $125,000 to fight lung disease, which affects more than 1 million people in the Chicago area.
