Whole Foods market has launched a color-coded rating system to measure the environmental impact of its wild-caught seafood. The system addresses concerns about overfishing and the effects certain fishing methods have on the environment.

The system used by Whole Foods gives seafood a green, yellow or red rating. The ratings are based on how abundant the species is and how sustainable the methods used to catch it are.
