Students at Nettlehorst School in the Lakeview neighborhood now have a premiere teaching kitchen and dining area.

Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma teamed up with decorator Nate Berkus to create it.

A ribbon cutting was held Tuesday morning with Alderman Tom Tunney Chicago Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman and Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard.

The new kitchen allows for students to learn nutritional cooking skills through their curriculum.
