The attorney general's office says an unannounced check at central nursing and rehab on Chicago's Northwest Side found this month found nine residents were wanted on outstanding warrant arrests.
The compliance checks are part of the Operation Guardian initiative by Attorney General Lisa Madigan.
She says the unannounced visits will continue in order to ensure that residents are in a safe environment and that nursing homes follow the law.
