Despite complaints of dropped calls, Apple's iPhone ranks number one for the fourth year in a row.
Apple scored 800 out of a possible 1,000 points, leading the two closest rivals: Motorola with 791, and HTC with 781.
J.D. Power did not single out any specific model or models made by Motorola or HTC.
Both of those companies sell Android models.
The battery category was the only one of five that Apple did not rate best.
