Political candidates face Ill. high school students

A group of high school students got a chance to question the Illinois candidates in the races for governor and senator Saturday.The students gathered at National Louis University Saturday morning to listen to the candidates and question their opinions on education reform, violence prevention and other issues.

The session was organized by the Mikva Challenge, a non-partisan, non-profit effort to educate students by putting them at the center of the political process.

Afterwards, the students graded the candidates based on their responses.
